With temperature ranging from – 25 degrees to 10 degrees during this time period, Ladakh invites only few number of people in these extreme yet exotic conditions in winter. || Tour Itinerary ||

Day 1: Arrive at Leh Airport in Morning flight, Get aboard the vehicle and Check-In to hotel, rest for entire day and getting acclimatize to climatic conditions. Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner & Stay overnight at Hotel.

Day 2: Visit to Shey Monastery, Thikshey Monastery, Hemis Monastery and Shanti Stupa (People, Landscape, Travel & Cultural Photography Opportunity)

Day 3: Visit to Sangam(confluence of Indus & Zanskar River in semi frozen state), Magnetic Hills, Alchi Monestry & Lamayuru Monestry  (Landscape, People & Indoor Photography)

Day 4: Excursion to Pangong Tso via Chang La Pass, Night stay at Pangong Tso  (Nature & Landscape Photography)

Day 5: Return to Leh by late afternoon, check-in to hotel. Return journey will have several halts for various photography opportunities in various small villages and passes. (Landscape & People Photography Opportunity)

Day 6:   Excursion to Nubra Valley via Khardung La Pass, Visit Sand dunes desert and Night stay at Nubra valley camps, Explore the villages in afternoon and next morning. (Nature, Landscape, People & Cultural Photography)

Day 7: Explore villages and monasteries on way back to Leh by late afternoon, check-in to hotel (Travel, Culture & Landscape Photography)

Day 9: Early morning check out, reach the Leh airport.

Notes :

  • This trip is ex. Leh, all participants will have to reach Leh airport on their own.
  • No airfares are included in the trip cost.
  • Ladakh in winters will have extreme low temperatures ranging from single digit to minus dual digit degrees Celsius at various locations.
  • All traveling will be done in SUV vehicles with heaters.
  • Oxygen cylinders available in all vehicles.
  • When in Leh, stay will be in local hotel with basic amenities.
  • All meals included, all days.
  • Accommodation on twin sharing basis
  • Any extra meal or beverages ordered will be on participant
  • Laundry and phone bills from hotels will be on participant
  • Participants has to pay 100% amount to book the dates
  • Charges are non-refundable on cancellation
  • Anything that is not mentioned in included list will be on participant’s cost

Every participant has to sign ‘Release of Liability, Statement of Risk Agreement’ form before joining.

The Window Seat or any partner of the firm shall not be responsible for injuries, damages, or losses caused to any participant in connection with terrorist activities, social or labor unrest, accidental, mechanical or construction failures or difficulties, diseases, local laws, climatic conditions, abnormal conditions or developments, or any other actions, errors, or conditions outside The Window Seat control.

TWS expects all the participants to bear with any such unfortunate conditions, which are beyond our rangeIn case of any medical problems likewise heart related problems, blood pressure issues, asthma, diabetes needs to be taken care by participant’s end.

Ladakh In Winters Tour is planned and arranged in advance. In case of any uncertain reasons (geographic or climatic), we might require to make changes prior, last moment or after arrival of the group in Leh, we reserve the rights to do so anytime for such unseen circumstances or in case of any safety hazard to participants. We would try to provide alternatives (locations, dates, places) in case of any unfortunate circumstances.
